Seidel Planning & Design’s President, Brian E. Seidel, LLA, NJPP provided compelling land use planning testimony to the municipal Zoning Board of Adjustment winning approval for the modification of an existing communications tower in Carteret Borough.

Testimony summarized:

• The application was consistent with spirit and purpose of State and Federal legislation supporting the co-location of antenna and equipment on existing structures;
• The application and structure met the federal standards of ‘eligible facilities’, and;
• Compliance with the standards of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law.

The presentation and master planning testimony resulted in the approval of a request for an interpretation from the Board of Adjustment the application was exempt from zoning regulations and site plan review.

Mr. Seidel also provided professional planning services obtaining land use and zoning approval for the construction of the same existing communications tower in 2014.
